Michael Pollan’s journalistic chops and cultural cognizance brought us this beautifully written exploration of where our food comes from and the interconnectedness of our food choices with our economy, our environment, and our humanity. I’ve read many of his books, but this remains my favorite.

I’ve often said that the science of nutrition is very complex, but the art of eating right is pretty easy. My co-author and I wrote this book to coach readers through the thing that trips up most people who try to eat better - a lack of effective skills for managing the change process. Goal setting, tracking, recruiting support and preventing lapses are some of the skills emphasized in our evidence-based, practical guide for adopting a healthy eating pattern that can last a lifetime.
